Hi,
I could have used the app if I had data activated on the SIM card. Without data, the only way to communicate to the tracker is through texts.

Just a couple of steps to make the RFv16 easier to use when not using data.

Text > goff# <
This causes the tracker to immediately send GPS coordinates (and turns off default data upload setting)

Then text > tim,1# <
This prevents the tracker from going to sleep, requiring multiple texts to wake up.
The trade off is battery life is reduced to 4 hours.

I'm going to try that out today. 4 hours is plenty, I charge the tracker when I top up my batteries anyway.
