Greetings from Marin County, CA (just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco)
After lots of practice on my Syma (like driving a car with no brakes and a hair accelerator), and a few hours on the simulator, I'm ready to launch my P3P.
Background: I was a professional photographer, back in the day when everything was shot on film (35mm to 8x10 view camera). Now most of what I shoot is casual on my iPhone. Was always curious about drones and happened to go into a local photo store which had a display on what these pups are capable of.
One thing led to another and we'll see where else it may lead. If nothing else, looks like it will be a blast (hopefully not literally).
