RC won't power check/power on unless plugged in

Strange behavior from my RC, prior to and after the latest firmware update - it won't do a battery power check, nor will it turn on unless plugged into charger. Charged it for 4 hours and same issue.

I did the firmware upgrade with it plugged in, can connect to the aircraft but powers down as soon as charger unplugged.

Anyone else experience this? Got a fix?

Not heard of it.

It looks battery of RC is disconnected.

Probably not user serviceable... Not sure how that would have happened

Better to send it to DJI service. I'm suggesting this cause plastic mounts inside are very brittle and might break during opening. Secondly you may not have the replacement battery.
