RC "channel monitor" A channel at 12

    Just got the Phantom and did all the initial settings, compass calibration, didn't need any updates, etc..
    Completed IMU, compass numbers look great, however my A channel on the transmitter is at 12, all others at zero.

    I can't fly it again tonight to see if it drifts, my question is does this matter?
    I also did the manual calibration explained here several times successfully:

    Same result. The arrow is on the center line, but a tad on the opposite side of the line compared to the others.

    Any help would be appreciated.
