Range With FVP Booster?

I cannot find in my manual what the normal range is for the Phanto 2 Vision + and what is the range using the FVP Booster App. Anyone know? Thanks...

I read that you can expect a range increase of about double from the standard. OnePlace state of the standard range was 3900 feet with the booster I saw that you can expect a range of over 5000 feet, good enough for me if it works

I doubled my range withe the DBS mod

I went from 1000' to 4500' with just using FVP Booster with Smart Boost.

Careful,using the booster app as it increases the signal it also increases the heat. Wifi tx can be overheated and burn out due to to much signal increase.

Plus one..
There is a reason why dji didnt bump the dbi strength.
Have the fpv available only when you need to do range. Leave the booster off if you are in visible range.

Better to boost the antenna for range rather than boost the tx power and chance overheating.

To answer your first question in the OP, it's 500-700 meters.

Re the booster app, it would be safer to use the booster on a cool day rather than a warm day for the reasons already stated...
