Is there any chance that using a parabolic antenna range extender, one of the foil or aluminum ones, that it will reduce the "lost video" problem? I suppose that if it is a DJI Go app problem then boosting the signal will make no difference. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks all.

Well, you answered your own question, depends on the reason for the lost signal. If there are no known obstructions or you are close when it happens then it is likely the app. I built the parabolic one and it made a lot of difference at long range, but none within a mile or so, unless there were obstructions.
