Range - do I have a problem!?

Downgrading the app on the iPhone is a tad difficult. I can't find any older ipa files online and I don't have a backup as I don't use iTunes. I would rather have the bird fly properly with 1.5.7 and use litchi or autopilot until dji sort out the go app

This is very true.

I followed that guide after downloading an earlier version than the current one of Charles and was able to install an earlier version of the dji go app.

Great to hear.
The latest version works fine but it is definitely different than the one used in the video, got confused a few times myself following it.
