radio not working phantom

Hi

After in stalling another transmitter in the phantom and video gear i have upgrade to the phantom vision+ so was taking out this gear and putting back DJI transmitter to sell it but can't get it to work with? have done the link between transmitter and receiver and it links ok to the phantom but thats it can't get it to arm it or do a calibration i flick the switch from GPS to ATTI 10 times but no joy. Do i have to connect it to assistant to get radio to work with phantom i am lost.

Yes, you have to connect the Phantom to the Naza Assistant software and select the proper receiver type (DBus) and make sure other RC settings are normal.
