Does anyone know where I can get the little protective plugs that go on the ends of the arms on a Phantom 4 Pro? They are the clear lens type plugs that cover the slot that the prop guards plug into. I have tried to look them up but I don't even know the correct name for them to look them up. I can find the round LED lens caps but not the plugs. I have tried searching to no avail.

No. Those are motor covers. I am after the little clear plastic lens that goes on the end of the arm that is in place when the prop guards are not in use. When you install the prop guards you remove the plastic lens covers, if that is what they are called. It will fly fine without them but I lost one and would like to replace it. Here is a picture of one.

Lots of resources here.

It may not be available from DJI. I don't know.

Possibly from a 3rd-party repair house, etc., that has recycled parts available???

@KMixson Did you manage to find spareparts for this? I’m in the same situation as you, lost one and need to find a supplier...

Basen on a Youtube clip by DJI support the correct name is ”protective plugs”

Unfortunately I don’t think those will work, as you can see on the picture posted earlier in the thread and in the video the shape is very different. Im looking for something that matches the design of the original parts

I am looking for one too
I’m still waiting for DJI for a response if they will send me one. They are definitely not a part you can buy. I called a lot of drone repair shops and they either don’t have them or if they do they can’t sell them. The shops usually get them only with crash repair kits that only come from DJI and the kit cost is around $450. There are probably thousands out there, but nobody wants to sell them or their not allowed to sell them because there is no part number. The only advice I got from most shops is search for crashed/water damaged phantom 4 or 4 Pro online. They are more valuable than gold!

Hey, maybe just take them all off and forget about them. You will remove a tiny amount of weight and the phantom will look cleaner.

It actually does look better with them all out imo! Also if you look at the original box the Phantom 4 Pro came in, the big main photo doesn’t have them installed. It was almost like they were an after thought. Maybe why they don’t have a part number for them and nobody knows what they are really called. Plastic plug, protective plug! There is one on eBay for sale from China called Top Shell Protective Cover Transparent Buckle Lock. It might be the only chance to find/buy one! Something about my OCD that can’t let it go lol.

This is DJI reply about the plastic plug. All I have to say is let’s waste time and money for a simple part that could be shipped out for my convenience! I find this ridiculous!

::::: As per our repair team, for the parts that you need, they suggest you send in your aircraft instead since those parts are not sold separately. For your convenience, you can start up an online repair request on your own by the following steps:

1. To get started with the online repair request click: 自助寄修-DJI 大疆自助服务中心
2. Log-in to your DJI account using your username and password.
3. Select your region and country.
4. Once you have entered all of the required information, you will receive a case number along with a shipping label.

Thank you again for your time and thank you for patronizing DJI product.

Best Regards,
Abbey
