Problems switching a P4P Controller w/a Pro + Controller

I just purchased a P4P Controller so I could switch out my Pro+ Controller to use DroneDeploy services since they don't support the Pro+. I am having issues with pairing with the drone. I am wondering if the drone firmware or something similar is the issue. Thanks, R

What exactly doesn't seem to be working as expected?

I shows disconnected on my android app even though the "green lights" on both the controller and drone "show" connected.

If the light on the remote controller is green, it's connected to your drone and the problem lies somewhere with your mobile device.

Which Android device are you using? How did you attempt to connect it to your remote controller?

I am using a Galaxy Tab A version 5.0.2 The same issue exists with my Galaxy Note8

Solved... Remove USB to Android pigtail and plug the USB fitting into controller NOT the pigtail (android fitting). Simple but not necessarily obvious. Works with Galaxy TabA
