Problem with P3S after recent firmware update

So I have a phantom 3 standard, love it. Never has been a problem since I got it. But recently, I got the drone out for a flight and DJI Go told me firmware updates were available. So I went through the process of updating everything. Nothing went wrong and was able to fly right after. But while I was flying, I noticed that the drone or DJI Go didn't recognize the mode it was in. And when I moved the S2 switch between atti, function, and positioning mode it didn't change it at all. It is like my drone is in permanent positioning mode and won't switch between the other modes. If I flip the S2 switch to what usually is function mode the intelligent flight mode options do not show up. Help???

Lots of settings revert to default values with a firmware update.
This is one of those.
Go back and check all your settings for things you may have changed (such as RTH height).

And, it's the S1 switch that changes the modes. S1 is on the right hand side.

I think after the update DJI Go just reset most of the settings. Thank you for the help.

Yes, check everything.....
Video and Photo settings, resolution .mov .jpg, file index settings.
Battery settings Low, Critical, Etc.

Most important... RTH settings.
Some have said that there RTH gets set to the default, CHINA
