Possible to tilt motors/props on P1?

I've seen that one of the things they did with the P3 is that they tilted the motors slightly to shoot the prop wash underneath the phantom to try to eliminate the dreaded vortex ring thing that P1s and P2s sometimes encounter when descending rapidly. Has anybody ever tried to shim the inside two mounting holes on the P1's motors with washers or something to try to achieve that angled geometry for their motors?
 
The tilting of the motors is more about adding self-stability to the overall system.
Like the slight angled outward legs of a bar stool.

This is analogous to dihedral in fixed wing aircraft.
Not sure there's any VRS benefit as I have 'read around' about this and have yet to see mention of it.

Sure, you can tilt yours but you may have to create clearance in the top shell motor holes.
Also expect a wee bit of efficiency loss.
