In the raw video everything looks perfect, however after using Sony Movie Maker (I'm using the trial version if that might affect it) all shots where the P3A is rotating or the gimbal is panning up and down at reasonable rates, the video comes out blurry/distorted even when the raw files look great. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is it that I'm using the trial version? Is it Sony Movie Maker in general? Is it my P3A video capture settings?

At a guess, it sounds like compression. The moving images are affected.

If you are seeing the problem on screen, it may be how the editor displays the video. Video on screen (in an NLE) is often lower quality so it can be displayed in real-time. Output (render) the video to a movie file and view with a movie player.

If the problem is in the file you output, check compression settings. Using a heavy, or the wrong, compression method can cause these type of issues.
