Pool crash...has anyone revived a battery after water damage? if so how?

lost my drone over the pool the other day... took it all apart dried it completely and did the foil mod to the shell while I had it apart...

Works perfect all I needed to do was recalibrate the compass...

BUT

the battery won't turn off and is only flashing 2 green lights...

has anyone revived a battery after water damage? if so how?

OMG, after a LiPo battery gets wet, watch out for heat and fire.
Not good!
Probably a gonner, IMHO.
