Anyone know why my phantom4 pro plus controller overheats underneath the controller close to the HDMI port? How do i fix it?

Unless you get an actual warning , the heat at the bottom of the unit is where the battery is at, and its normal.

No warning but it get so hot to the point my finger felt it burns.

I have a phantom 4 pro plus v2.0, can't calibrate vision and remote is overheating. Does anyone have a clue.

There's definitely something odd going on there I think, I flew 4 batteries worth a few days ago, almost end-to-end flights and didn't notice any undue heat on the controller.

My controller is GL300E

I haven't noticed anything like that. I have it since october 2017. It would be worth to check the battery.

I haven't noticed any problems with heat when I fly the P4P+ at work but ours is the Drone World Falcon mod with the fans built into the remote to remove excess heat. A must have in south Louisiana temps.

As you mentioned the fan this also could be one of the reasons for overheating. JR808 - Can you hear the fan in the remote controller when it's on?
