Has anyone moved on from a phantom 3standard to a Mavic, Pros and cons?

I’m thinking about upgrading

And how come there is no Mavic section on this forum? Or am I not looking hard enough

HI Vzr1

Absolutely do it... I have a Phantom 3 pro, and a first generation Mavic Pro, the Mavic pro is an order of magnitude better...

There are lots of pros. For some cons, the flight time is about 4 minutes less (21 minutes vs 25 minutes) and the remote controller is not designed to hold a tablet (easily fixed with a tablet mount).

I stepped up from my Standard and P3 4K to a MP then to a M2P. Just keep the Phantoms because.
You will not believe the signal difference and portability.
As cheap as the MP’s have got I would go that way.
Just my thoughts.

Plenty of good reasons to change.
I have a P3A and recently bought a spark. I was in 2 minds wether to get the spark or the air. Cost decided it for me. If I’d have the dosh it would have been the air, better flying range, sensors etc.
Enjoy if you change.
