Phantom 4 Pro V2 with Smart Controller

Anybody with this combo know if switching it to CINE mode is supposed to work like it does with Mavic 2Pro? When I try it, it goes into ATTI mode. Is this normal? On the original Phantom Controller, there is no Cine or Tripod mode on the "Switch" ie Normal, Sport and ATTI modes.
So does that mean there is no Tripod mode via hardware?

When your drone goes into ATTI mode, are you not simply toggling the switch that puts it into ATTI mode? Intelligent flight modes (like Tripod) are accessed via the app, not the controller.

And as far as I'm aware, the P4 doesn't have a Cine mode.

The P4/P4P's have Tripod Mode, but not Cine. Not sure how much functional difference there is between them, now that the recent update allows much finer and slower controls of Cine.
