Phantom 4 Pro max height setting.

Hi everyone.
I have a GL300E controller for my Phantom 4 Pro with the Go Fly app programmed on it. I would like to find out if there is a way of increasing the max height on the controller. This is limited, via the program, to 500m. Thank you in advance for any help which may be provided.

That “GO FLY” shown in your picture isn’t the app name. It’s an icon to click on to move to the next screen.

500 meters is way up there. That is 1,500 feet, and very little of the ground detail can be seen at that height. I rarely fly any of my drones above 150 feet AGL unless there are cellphone towers around, in which case I set my RTH height for 260 feet AGL. I love nothing better than seeing footage from just high enough to clear buildings and high-tension cables.

Yes, I agree with the detail in the photos being poor at that altitude but, as I live on the coast, I'd like to do a few panoramic photos and videos out over the ocean. This type of footage turns out really well at a higher altitude.

I've found this website that claims that they have software to unlock no fly zones and height restrictions on most DJI drones. €40 for a licence for the Phantom 4 Pro which, if it works, is not a bad price.
Has anyone used this site before?

Drone Hacks has a good reputation and is priced the same as No Limit Drones, which I have used for a couple of my drones. Both are good at what they do
