I hope so. I just ordered one, so we'll see ;)

Whoa! That looks impressive. DJI has come through, IMHO. Kind of blows right by the Mavic Pro and relegates it to its most logical position in the lineup...a foldable, backpackable, downscaled version of the the Phantom. It also confirms that DJI is committed to the Phantom series.

I'll be curious to see what this implies for the Phantom 5.

Impressive 5 directions of obstacle sensing.

Draw Technology and Recorded Return to Home to avoid obstacle plus a 20 MP upgraded camera, impressive.!

Flight time extended to 30 minutes, under ideal conditions of course.

Let the shopping begin. I wonder when it will be available for shipment.

Dual rear vision sensors and infrared sensing systems to provide a total of five directions of obstacle sensing and four direction of obstacle avoidance.
With all of this technology on board it almost sure that it is going to avoid hitting a real bird during flight.

I think I am going to sell my P3P to get this one, that way it will leave me with a P4 & P4P.

I think it is worth the price. I was hoping for a better camera-check. I was hoping for sensors all around-check. I was hoping for longer range-check. I was guessing about the Mavic Pro type flight modes-check. Never ever ever guessed they would have an attached monitor.

This appears to kick some butt, and I can see why the added $100.00 to the original release price of the P4. From what I'm seeing, I'd probably go with the P4P if I had to replace my P4 over a Mavic Pro. If the P5 is confirmed to be coming out in the Spring, I'd wait because I'm really hoping it will have some type of folding technology, a more robust airframe and no props or landing gear in any shot.

Said 1-2 weeks when I placed my order...we'll see ;-)

This thing is insane. Looks very slick. How ever some well wish they chose a bigger screen. At least 7.9. I wonder if an update will make the original p4 battery last a half hour. Can anyone chime in on that?

I just placed an order... heck with it.

Now I need to decide if I want to sell my P4 or the P3P, Lol.

Now where are the hundreds of people so confidently predicting the death of the Phantom line?
I skipped the P4 but at last DJI have come up with a camera that will make the P4pro a must have for me.
Gotta love the way DJI keep pulling techno-rabbits out of the hat.
It would be unseemly to go over to the Mavic Forums for a victory lap, I guess....*sigh*.

But yeah, I have to say that first the Mavic Pro, then one-upping it with the Phantom 4 Pro in the space of 30 days is pretty impressive marketing. I really gotta hand it to DJI. With the demise of Apple's ability to innovate, at least the spirit of Steve Jobs is still out there somewhere.

They say 4.3 mile range, but they don't specifically say Occusync. Is it safe to assume that it is Occusync, and that the DJI Goggles will work with this Phantom?

This camera looks very interesting.
Look at how much better it is.
Note the numbers under the lens.
It's a real camera.
It's a game changer for sure.

I wonder if we have the option to use or own mobile device instead of the integrated one in the controller.

No integrated screen for me, I would rather use my own device. Standard RC.

The integrated screen does not seem to be removable.

hence the reason I picked standard controller for me.
