Hey Everyone-
I have a P4 and have been racking up flights. I haven't had any problems with it, but was concerned if there are any items that should be changed out as a maintenance item.

I have 556 flights, 115 hours flight time, 3,044,965 feet. Motors still run cool, a few new sets of props, and that is it.

Not bad! My P4 has 309 flights for 934,560 feet or about 177 miles and 34 hours on it. You got me beat by a bunch!
Good luck,
Jim

Always thought motors would be the key, only moving part, has to have a life expectancy, but what is it

It would be nice to have some diagnostic criteria that could give some indication of the health of the motors.

Also, some sort of lubrication of the motor bearings can only help extend the life, but authoritative information is necessary to know what, where, and when to lubricate.
