Phantom 4 controller red light

Hello,
Yesterday, I started the set up process. Have not done any firmware updates. When the controller is fully charged, the red light is still on. What does that mean, and is it normal?

It means you're not connected with your drone.

Yes, it's not connected to anything. Have not updated the firmware either. Just the initial charge of the controller.

Connect your drone and batteries in turn. Update firmware and reboot and you should be good to go
