Phantom 3advanced

I have a phantom 3advanced. My remote packed up and I purchased another one but it is for a phantom 4. The model number is the same as my old one but I can't get it to work with my drone or the app on my phone. Can anyone help??

What happens when you do the linking process to link the AC and the RC?
What is the exact model number of the new controller? Are you sure it was from a P4 and not a P4A or another P4 model?

Here is a Controller Compatibility Chart that I first put together in April 2018.

Sounds like the new remote is a gl300c ver b, you can see this top right of the label on the back of the remote, if it's the version B remote then it will only work with the P4

I also strongly suspect he has a Ver.B which is exactly why I asked for the model number and if he was sure it came from a P4.

The remote is 300c and the guy who I purchased it from said it was from a p4 and it would work for a p4 advanced. Now how true that is , I really don't know.

Check out this post from Tuesday and look on the back of your RC to see if you have a Ver.B which works with a P4A but not with a P3A or P3P.
