hello there I have the phantom 3 standard if I were to get a sd card for my drone what kind should I get and another question I had can I just keep delete the videos I do not want to keep. then I still keep the sd card in the drone. if I take the sd card out of my phantom how do you go about putting that on my laptop and save it, any advice would help thanks.

I have a list of some commonly used memory cards that work well with the P3S here.

After I'm done flying, I normally remove the memory card from my Phantom, insert it into a memory card reader (I use this one), and move the files from the memory card to my computer. Then, I put the memory card back in the Phantom (without formatting it). If you don't want to move all of the files off of the memory card for some reason, it would be okay to leave some files on it.

I never saved any video on my computer, I saved all my videos in YouTube after is edited.

If your laptop has a USB 3 port, I would get a USB 3 memory card reader that support micro sd. The file transfers will go much faster over USB 3 than USB 2.
