Hey, took my Phantom 3 4K apart after a water crash. This is what i have understood (i could be wrong). This model has a wifi module below the VPS. There is a connector that runs from the main motherboard to the wifi module. I suppose this is the telemetry data. There is also a connector that runs from the gimbal to this, and this could be a scaled down video feed. The wifi board overlays these and transmits the data to the controller and then to the phone app. 2 wires from the wifi board break out into the antennas. I'm not sure if the phantom 3 standard has a separate wifi board or if that is incorporated into the gimbal.
