I recently purchased a P3 Pro minus its camera and gimbal. I intend to use it for fishing, and want to fit a load release mechanism. It uses a normal 3 wire servo, 3.5 to 6 volt, and I only need it to open.
Any suggestions as to where I can connect the wires for voltage and control? I have the C3 and C4 switches available, plus any of the camera/gimbal channels.
Thanks

Hey man, I can't help you but it's a super great idea! I'll keep watching your Thread and hope somebody answers with success!

Hello @itzkc. Sorry, but I don't know how to connect a servo to a dji phantom 3. However, you can buy a pre-made release that uses a tension release. This might be simpler to install, because there are no electronics involved. DJI phantom 3 bait release

Hope this helps,
Daniel

I use my Phantom 3 pro for just dropping bait this is my set up I just bought a drop kit from Amazon
Work very well and never had a problem. I made the landing stand out of 1/2in dowels and put floats on it out of noodles just in case I have carried as much as 2lbs with this great drone so far and am sure it can handle more
