How can I tell if I have the original motors or the upgraded ones on my
Phantom 3 Professional. I have a strap like holding tool for installing props.
Please advise.

My go app gives me a warning to fly with caution near class d airspace.
I think since it not a restricted zone I can fly?

If you do not have your remote pilot license, you're currently only allowed to fly in Class G airspace or authorized fixed sites within controlled airspace. See more details here:

New or old motors phantom 3

Let's throw something else into the mix, an "old" motor goes down, no stock left, do you just swap all 4 for new or do you have to change the esc's as well?

The props only need to be finger firm.
Over-tightening could damage the soft threads in the prop.
The tool is for removing stuck props.
