Phantom 3 App

After installing the Phantom 3 App on my Samsung s3 mobile phone and on trying to connect the phone to the Phantom 3 via the app the first choice to make is the selection of the drone type. The app does not give me the option of a Phantom 3, only the Inspire series. Please assist.
 
Which Phantom are you using?
 
Is this a brand new Phantom? Did you connect your phone to the Phantom's Wi-Fi network? Were you able to connect any other mobile devices to your Phantom?
 
It is a brand new Phantom. The Samsung S3 is connected to the wi-fi. No other mobile devices available to connect. How do I connect the Phantom to the wi-fi please ?
 
You need to connect your Samsung S3 to the Phantom's Wi-Fi (not your home Wi-Fi). Check out the getting started guide that came in the box for more details. You can also download that guide here.
 
Try logging out of the DJI go app. Then reconnect. I know I have to do this regularly.
