PHANTOM 3 ADV question

Please Advise, I have a Phantom 3 Adv that I bought new and flew 3 times. I used a IPAD mini 4th gen as my controller. I was not able
to fly for over 4 years living on a military base and no area closer than 2 hours away. I recharged my IPAD and. did an upgrade to ISO
and now the app DJIGO will not even open. Did I just brick my Phantom? can I somehow download the older version of ISO? or I at the
try to sell it stage now.

ISO = International Standards Organization; it made ie. the ISO/OSI network model which you used to transfer this answer onto your local device from a Cloudflare sever which hosts this forum.

iOS = iPhone Operating System, very closed but quite secure operating system made and supported by Apple.

If so did you try it before you did the IOS update?

It's a shame that you didn't verify functionality before introducing a significant change such as a FW or iOS update. So many threads over the years have started with, "It was working perfectly, then I changed [ FW, App, Settings, etc ] and now it doesn't work." That's why we so often suggest leaving everything alone if it's already working. For example, I still use DJI GO v2.4.2 and iOS 9.3.5 on my Air 2.

So you updated your iOS. My guess is that you updated to iOS 15 since that is the highest a Mini 4 can accept. What did it have prior to the change? The current GO app requires iOS 12 or later. Perhaps you are still trying an older version of GO, prior to the "iOS 12 or later" restriction. You didn't say if you have also updated the GO app. Which version do you have on your Mini 4? You can check the installed app version on your ipad by going to Settings > General > iPad Storage, then tapping on the app's name to see its version number.

Thanks for your assistance. After rechecking my iPad is a mini3 updated to iOS 12.5.7 not a mini4. The DJI GO app is still loaded as I click it to open it it opens and then closes within seconds.
