Phantom 2 vision +...

Now, to approach my Phantom 2 vision + probelms another way.
Is it possible to use the Phantom 2 vision + WITHOUT the wifi extender and still get FPV on the screen? The range, of course would be limited.
Thoughts please?

ive seen mention of it, however it means hooking your phone directly to a wifi that transmits no SSID, and i think you have to set a manual IP as the range extender is the DHCP side of the operation, i may have missed your posts, what issues are you having ?

Linking DJI Vision app to P 2 vision + camera.

Matt and I spent an hour yesterday trying to figure the P 2 vision +.
Matt says,
1) Phone connects to wifi extender.
2) If attempt is made to bind, wifi is dropped.
3) Open camera section of app, says Phantom
connection broken and shows battery status of wifi extender, but no vision.
4) Also says wifi disconnected even though it is not.

We really do need some help.

Me thinking you are trying to use a Samsung S7 or similar, newer Androids phones don’t play nice with the app you need an older device or use an Apple phone as they seem to work fine

Tried my Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and son's Oppo 09, and my Ipad Air. Oops, Oppo R9.
