I saw a Youtube video where on the FC40 turn transmitter around and at the bottom right on back of transmitter is 2 hole, take a screwdriver and top hole turn clockwise and that will increase the range and afterwards turn transmitter off then back on again and it should beep twice instead of once now letting you know what your in. Anyone have any input or knowledge on this...?

FCC and CE, Gotcha, But is this true and safe to do...?

Yes it is true.
Though this potentiometer wasn't designed for users. It is pre-set for the region where the controller is sold.

Is it safe:
- if you mean equipment damage - if you're ignorant enough, you can damage anything.
- if you mean law compliance - it isn't legal to sell devices which are incompatible with CE in Europe; as for modding a device to break CE for personal use - I don't really know the law; I always assumed it's illegal.
