Paying for nothing

    I wanted to give others a heads up with my experience.

    I had an order placed with DJI for my P3A. I cancelled the order after finding a dealer on here with one in stock. DJI refunded my order after having billed my card but because of the exchange rate and the fact they did not do a transaction reversal (per my credit card company) I was out $69 CAD for the cancelled transaction.

    Both DJI and my bank refused to help. DJI says they refunded the entire amount in USD so it's not their problem and the bank says that I got the entire amount in USD for the transaction so a dispute cannot be made. The bank did say that had DJI cancelled the payment, I would have received the entire amount.

    So through all that, I recommend that transactions go through PayPal since they refund the entire amount in your currency.
