P4P v2 - do batteries need update with latest firmware update?

Topic says it.
With the latest firmware update (end of October ish) do we also need to update the batteries?

Also- what is the version # of the most recent Firmware update for the P4P v2?

They do get firmware updates. When you update your AC, it updates the batteries. If you exchange for another battery, it updates that one as well. I don't remember the version number, but it was released on Oct 24, 2018. I believe it's something around 1.00.22.
