p4p first flight checklist - any tips guys?

I'm assuming update the firmware (bird and the remote)? But what else after that? Will be doing my first flight tomorrow and I just want to make sure I don't miss a step.

That about covers it, but your quad should come with a preflight checklist in your paperwork if you want to be more thorough.

You will do fine just take it up and let it hover. Learn the trust of it. Spin around before going into any direction. Then come down and land to get the feel of take off and land. Then go up for a bit more. Its really amazing and easier then I thought. You will have a blast. Make sure you hit record before you take off and have a another camera filming you and the drone for you 1st flight always a nice little clip to put together for the home videos collection.
