P4A Compatible Transmitters

Does anyone know for a fact, or has anyone tried, to connect the GL300A transmitter with a Phantom 4 Advanced? I've heard that the range of the P4A isn't the greatest with the stock transmitter (GL300C, but maybe Rev 2 variant) and I know that the GL300A has done wonders for the range on my Phantom 4, so I'm hoping that the GL300A would link and work with the Phantom 4 Advanced as well.

Please let me know ASAP and thanks in advance!

Well, that's too bad (since the P4A has poor stock range) considering that B&H has a new P4A on sale for $829 today (fantastic deal), but thanks for confirming!
