P4 Pro Updated D-Log Color

You Fred! Saw this the other day when you released it. Always good knowledge and tips too. Cheers man!

That gimbal-roll short cut is great! It really seemed like a no-brainer to have a quick adjustment like that, glad to see it was there all along.

One thing I would contest that you mention in the video - that lower ISO is ideal with all cameras - That's not necessarily true. With Red for example, which shoots RAW, a lower ISO (say, 320 for example) will result in a very clean image, but that low-noise ISO comes at the expense of highlight protection. However shooting 800 ISO, what Red claims is "native" in many of their sensors, gives the best balance of stops of dynamic range between the highlights and shadows. You're essentially choosing where "middle-grey" is on a dynamic range chart made up of 12 or so stops of latitude.

Here's an exhaustive description in their own words - ISO Speed Revisited

Of course, the 8-bit video captured by the P4P is not RAW and must be used in a completely different way - but it's still worth mentioning because different camera systems sometimes require different approaches to get the best out of them. Cheers.

Quick question..I also own a Mavic Pro, does this gimbal-roll adjustment short cut work on that remote as well?
Thanks!
