Mine finally came a few hours ago and I'm charging up the batteries so I can update the firmware. Mine also came from Drone Depot

No, Drone Depot shipped to Sam's, then Sam's shipped to me.

Please bear in mind, purchasing from a retailer like sams club DJI will not honor your warranty, only approved vendors carry an extended warranty, if you are not worried about after sales repairs & support, go for it.

The deal we got in on was a one day thing. It is possible they or someone else will do it again on black friday... keep your eyes peeled for a sale!

I think he decided to get an Advanced instead of a Standard, but we're still watching for deals!

Just go for the Pro for a couple hundred more if you go that route. It will be a great machine for you. Look for bundles with a second battery.
