Hi All,
I need to purchase the circuit board for the gimbal on my phantom 3 professional. I prefer to buy a new circuit board but secondhand is okay too providing it has no issues or problems. My phantom constantly gives me a "No image transmission signal" and I have no video feed to my ipad/iphone. The P3P flies and takes videos and photos, I just do not see anything.
The reason I do not want to buy an entire camera/gimbal set-up is because my P3P is old stock but less than 1hr flight time and that is all flying within line of site. The error I have had since its purchase as a secondhand buy, so no comback on the previous owner.

Any help or advise will be appreciated.
thanks Rob

You may want to check with Hani at uavrepairshop.com. He's probably got a few laying around his shop. He is also a regular on the PhantomPilots Forum.

@hunch, can you help this guy out?

Oh well. I gave it a shot that you might have some in a pile somewhere. Can't hurt to try. Just wonder though, do you think the OP's issue is due to a bad gimbal circuit board or maybe something else?

Thanks Hani. [emoji106]

I do appreciate your help, this forum and other members input. I am open to anybodies valued advice but days and many many hours of reading all sources of info on my issue all relate to the circuit board. A few threads did discuss the ribbon cable but I replaced that first with no change. I am almost ready to give up on this thing because Hani emailed me direct and informed me I should replace the entire gimbal. Well I am going to hold off doing that until I exhaust all other options sourcing just the part I need. My obsession with flying has fast deminished to now being happy just looking at the expensive waterproof drone case sitting on the floor. At least when I sell this thing, it will be in pristine condition with still less than 1hr use.

I understand where you're coming from @Rob65. I know it can be frustrating trying to troubleshoot issues like this.

In the meantime keep searching for the P3P gimbal circuit board and maybe the entire gimbal assembly in the forum classified section. Many times you'll find people parting out their Phantoms. Good luck. [emoji106]

Crashed cameras are often seen on ebay. It is kind of lottery to buy such gimbal, but often only mechanic part is damaged. But they are usually not as cheap as you would expect.

Also, these boards can be repaired by a skilled electronic technician. Unfortunately there is no full schematic, so it's time consuming to repair it. But many info is available on the wiki made by Github guys, and simplified conceptual schematic is there:

Cheers for this info, I will investigate further.

Does the P3S gimbal require at ribbon cable with only one connector that plugs into the circuit board that is just above the yaw control motor, or does it require a ribbon with two (side-by-side) connectors?

I have a P3S gimbal which needs repaired and, among other things, I had to remove the above-noted circuit board I pulled up a You Tube video to get familiarized the the repair process for a P3S and noted that my board looked different than the one in the video - theirs had two connectors, mine has one. Then the narrator explained that the P2 needs only one connector while the P3S needs two.

So, do I have a P2 gimbal or a P3S gimbal?

Sorry I cannot help you with your questions as I have only knowledge of the P3P and the ribbon cable for it has the double connector at the circuit board.

Actually you have helped me by letting me know the P3P uses the two side-by-side connectors at the circuit board. I think that some of the videos that are out there are mis-labled as to which Phantom version they pertain to, and this might be one of those cases.

Try this guy in case he has some left over.
No image transmission signal - P3P

I, too, need a circuit board - the one that is in the same housing as the yaw control motor. This would be for a Phantom 3 Standard.

Does anyone know what the 2nd pin inward from the right-hand end of the 10-pair male connector array (as seen with the pins sticking upward) is for on the backside of that circuit board is for?
