The answer is "greater than zero".
I never said that it "Never" happens. In the case of this occurring with a P3 it is nothing more than "Pilot Error". Not so clearly definitive with the P4's. The occurence's are much less with the P3's by quite a large margin.

Another reminder for your convenience, this one from the original post (emphasis mine):

"4 year old P3P took a sudden dive from 25 feet".

Information about the P4's design is not relevant here.

And also in reference, back to the original topic. The odd's of this incident being a battery dislodge are quite small. Which is why I brought up the P4 comparison. If the OP ever decides to share the aircraft .dat file, then we will know if this was the case or not. Until then speculation is a waste of time and effort and basically fruitless "What if..." discussion.

Ultimately the battery issue is easily answered, what was the condition of the AC after the crash? Was the battery still attached? Were all the props intact?

Ultimately the battery issue is easily answered,
90% of the time in a crash the battery will eject on impact, so that is not so easy to determine. Props on the other hand can help. Generally speaking the props will snap, but if the hubs are still attached then a prop loss can be excluded.
