Currently I've got an issue with my P3A's remote control. When charging, it charges normally (with the charging LEDs blinking at the charge level it has reached), but once it gets to the 75% charge LED, it starts behaving a little erratically. It stops charging (all lights go off) and then resumes charging, repeating this cycle. I've attached a youtube video to show what I mean (I am aware the forum rules say no videos, but I feel like it shows the issue I'm having best rather than explaining it as a text post. However, if this is not acceptable please let me know and I will remove it immediately).

Three possible reasons:
- lipo battery inside RC damaged
- battery control circuit damaged
- battery control circuit has wrong idea about its capacitance

Try using the RC, and check how long it will last. If it lasts as normal, then it's most likely the "wrong idea" - discharging it fully and charging again a few times will get it back to normal.

If the RC lasts very short - the battery is most likely damaged and needs to be replaced. There is also a chance of its control circuit being damaged, but that rarely happens.

Thanks. I will try that

I have the same problem with my P4 controller. It will only charge to 65%. My battery looked fine so I'm thinking it's the main board that's fried. With the battery unplugged and the charger plugged in, it's still acting like it's charging.
