P3 pro controller on p4 pro?

Could I use my P3 Pro controller with my P4 Pro? I upgraded the P3 Pro controller with a MaxxUAV range extender. Which brings me to my other question - Whats better? The P3 Pro controller with the MaxxUAV Mod or the Stock P4 Pro controller?

No. You can only use a P4P or P4P+ remote controller with the P4P.

I own both, but haven't attempted any long range tests to compare them. Per the specs, the range should be equal.
