P$-LOSS OF SIDEWAYS OR BACKWARDS MOVEMENT WHILE IN FLIGHT

Was flying in cold weather and fairly high winds and I lost control of my right joystick to move the craft backwards or sideways? Up down and rate worked on left stick. Came down two miles away in field. I just flew it in warmer conditions: Same problem. Anyone else had this happen? Any ideas?

Sounds like a controller issue to me. Have you tried to re-calibrate everything?
