P 3 not getting message ?

Some time ago I bought a second hand Phantom 3 Standard.

Have set up the remote and drone indoors along with a Samsung Note 4 and used the Dji simulator

successfully.

To gain some experience thought I would try to fly initially without the Note 4 to simplify things.

This is my routine:

Power on Remote, S1 in middle

Power up drone.

When slow yellow flashes appear start motors by holding sticks down in each corner (7 o’clock and 5 o’clock)

Should motors not now start?

All I get is a slight “twitch” (the motors, not me!)

To gain some experience thought I would try to fly initially without the Note 4 to simplify things.

I would suggest using the device and the app, such that you can see if there are any errors that are not allowing you to start the motors. Flying without the device is indeed possible, however it is much easier to learn with, than without.

Try all switches up,mine all up,,,yellow flash atti mode (no gps),which normal inside..got nice green lights on drone and remote,your could try rc calibration in the app,yes fly with app it has the info you need to stay airborne ,,can never read to much ,download manual and read ,I'm sure we all still read now and again,,
