OTG cable question

Just bought a new spark from dji. I was looking at videos on youtube. One of the guys was using one and talking Bot how well it work. No signal loss or anything. Then I was watching another video and that guy said dji would void the warranty if you used one. Anybody know anything about that? Seems like they would want you to get the best out of it. I am using the I pad mini 4. Thanks

Don't own a Spark. Nevertheless, I can't imagine how an OTG (On-the-Go) adapter could harm your drone.

I have a Spark and the addition of the OTG cable was one of the best things I did the sync time is shorter the video quality is better way less laggy.
