I was having a hard time seeing the screen, so I decided to land it and pack up. As I transitioned from looking at the screen to line of sight, I misjudged the guide slope with the top of the tree. I thought it was going to either be caught 30 feet up the tree or 3 feet deep in the swamp. Luckily it hacked it's way out of the branches. It was unstable, but semi controllable. I could see a smooth landing was going to be tricky, so I flew it into the thick, dead grass in front of me. I broke an inch or so off of two props. My next stop was to pick up a better tablet. Lesson: Understand that trees and water can reach out and grab things.
