My assistant/VO uses some of the On1 software, but he uses CaptureOne Pro for processing. It's more robust, and better overall. It is more expensive though.

The trick to processing well is to pick a software and learn it to its full potential.

I own On1 and I have to say I struggle with the app to get stuff done.
I bought the last non-subscription model of Lightroom 6 and still use it and Photoshop CS6.
The new whistles and bells aren't enough to make me want to shell out $120 a year for the "Photographers Bundle".
