Older batch of Phantom 3 Professional

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie.

Is there a reason to avoid the earlier release/batch of Phantom 3 Professional production? Has there been any improvement in a later batches to the hardware of Phantom 3 Professional? Is there a certain serial number to identify batches that need to be avoided? I checked that the RC firmware is still v1.1.9

I had a chance to buy an earlier batch for a little bit of discount.

The latest version has a new shell and new motors. I got my P3P about a week after they were released, so I'm using the original shell and motors. All has been well so far. Minus the potential shell cracking issue, you probably won't notice a difference between the original and current version.
