Is it a new better "Nazza M - V3/Lightbridge Box" or all surface mount electronics direct on a main custom board for P3 ??? Just wonderering about crossover products for Flamewheel.

Well there's a lot of talk that it is Inspire based.
Here's some shots of the Inspire internals if you haven't seen them:

Yes, with ALL the issues we are currently experiencing with the new SW. Brilliant Cant wait to deal with these issues with the P3

Great shots of the Inspire. Cannot help but notice the motor wires to the ESCs are the heavy gauge stranded (flexible) wires. I wonder what wires they use in the P3.

I was just looking over the specs for the GPS engine shown in the Inspire photos based on the assumption of P3's using the same equipment.

It seems that in addition to Glonass it is also capable of receiving the Chinese BieDou sats. and is 'ready' for the EU's Galileo sats.. (Galileo will be the only GPS system not run by military authorities BTW.)

DJI doesn't mention using BieDou but it's interesting that is capable.

The ublox NEO-M8N Coldstart TTFF times are listed below:

GPS & GLONASS- 26 s
GPS & BeiDou- 27 s
GPS- 29 s

You can read more about it here:

Also of note is that the Inspire's GPS engine and other components are now enclosed in an EMI shielded 'cage'.
