North Jersey, Very new old guy trying to get off the ground with a P330Z Phantom 2

I am looking for help to get my P330Z Phantom 2 drone off the ground. I don't have a manual, no experience. I just want to get the sequence right with controller and drone. I had it as far as all lights green just by trial and error but did not know why I could not get props spinning. Also need help in mounting the HERO to the Gimbal. It has a 7" Ground Station HD Monitor

Above link is for the Phantom 2 user manual to get you started. I am primarily a Phantom 3 user, so hopefully other members will chime in and offer their suggestions.
