Non OEM shells

How dumb is it to buy a cheap top shell? The OEM versions are $60 but I see entire shells for $25

Never tried one but ya know what they say.
Sometimes ya get what you pay for .Me only use OEM stuff .
Just me .

I did.. It was just fine.. Top,bottom, & gear. Took everything out of the OEM & installed in the new.. no problem.. only thing I needed from the stock was the two rubber like strips under the battery compartment.
Not sure if they're all created equal though..

I just bought 2 $25 complete shell kits with the legs off of Ebay. They have the foam, screws, LEDs.

The only thing I noticed is that they have a sticky feel. I wiped them down with alcohol and they were fine. These came with some wiring too.

Maybe there are different aftermarket shells of different quality. I have no clue I'm still new to all of this. I can't tell the difference or find any difference.

Never mind! I just looked at top of the box is labeled "Camrise" and looked it up...I did end up with factory shells I think. And here I thought they were aftermarket..
