no map on ground station screen

gday everyone
Ive just started flying so I'm still learning.
I downloaded the DJI app for my samsung s2 and for some reason the waypoint or ground station screen refuses to show me a map picture. Can anyone help. I reinstalled the app but it is still the same. Also if anyone can put me in the right direction on a better app to run my pv2 v3.

You need to be online for the maps.
Once you are, get the map for the area you want to fly in and the app will retain it for you.
So as long as you are in that area, you don't need to be online.
I like to save a map that covers a lot more area than just my interest.

Just zoom into the map in the app of everywhere you want to fly before you leave home and it will cache the map for you. The further you zoom in and cache the map the better

Trevor, I too have been having trouble with maps showing up on GS & find my phantom. I dont have problems at all with phone. It is frustrating. I can cache maps but it still doesn't work. I'm thinking it has something to do with the DJI app. Hope you get yours figured out.
